Magic, Mensa & Mayhem

I am proud to announce that we will be joined this coming Friday by Author Karina Fabian for a stop on her Magic, Mensa & Mayhem book tour.
I have asked her to talk a little for us about world building, and I hope we can come up with some great questions and comments to welcome her!
I know we have revisited world building many times in writing groups and also in topics here, and from many of the posts on The Secret Ingredient, it seems to be a topic of interest as well as significance.
What is it about the great speculative fiction world builders, Tolkien, McCaffery, Norton, Herbert, that we love so much? How do we, as amateurs, create a setting so captivating that our readers long to drift off there over and over again?
Please join us on Friday and give Karina a warm welcome.
You can find more information about her book, Magic, Mensa & Mayhem at:

Thanks, guys...and in the meantime,
give yourself five to drift off to your favorite, Spec Fic haunt and enjoy
the journey.
Cheers
~Frances
